AKRAM Group: Health & Environment Association for Life (HEAL)
HEAL (Health
and Environment Association for Life) is a non-profit entity, established in
2002. Health Environment Action for Life Organization (HEAL) was registered in
2002, as a Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control)
Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI OF 1961) with Government of the Punjab Directorate of
Social Welfare under Registration No. DO.SW.LHR/02-1278 of 2002.
Vision:
HEAL is
incorporated with a vision of clean and well protected environment supporting a
sustainable society and health.
Mission:
Our mission
is to protect human health and environment.
HEAL is working with the aim of supporting Bottom of the Pyramid (BOP)
community by providing various services.
To provide medical services to our community
our health projects include following free camps and regular free clinics with
free dispensaries:
Awareness camps on:
Malnutrition among women and children
in different villages.
Personal and menstrual Hygiene awareness
to women.
Free medical
camps and follow up of diabetic
and hypertensive patients.
Regular
clinics with free dispensaries on Multan
road and Ferozepur road.
HEAL is working on safe
environment projects:
To prevent physical obstacles from polluting environment
by giving awareness on hazards created by plastic bags and encouraging to use re-cycle
bags.
Provide
awareness on clean drinking water.
Rag shop(thrift
shop) to re-cycle used clothing.
Re-cycle Paper Unit:
Re-cycle
paper used paper project to develop useable paper and produce value addition
saleable items.

running two Primary Schools for under privileged following high standards of

The current
setups are on various locations of Lahore and we wanted to manage all these
centers from one location.
